So i finally got a blog! i decided to get a blog for 2 reasons. 1- my sister told me i should. 2- i'm really not a fan of updating my facebook status every 5 minutes but i still like to keep people posted. plus, i love the idea of writing in a journal a few times a week but i don't like actually writing in my journal because my hand gets tired so i can just update this and call it a day. a fact that should be known off the bat is that i love pinterest. and when i like something on pinterest, it'll show up on here so i can remember it forever and see it whenever i want!! one last thing...i hardly ever use capitalization.
i currently live in rexburg, idaho gearing up to start college the beginning of january at BYU-Idaho!! i've been waiting to go to school here since i was a sophomore and i LOVE it here! this town in amazing but SO.COLD!! haha i'm living with my sister and brother-in-law until i can move into my apartment on january 2nd.
my sister, kris, and i got to talk to my brother, matt, today!! he's on a mission in ecuador. he left june 22 of this year. 6 months down; a year and a half to go:) he sounds so great! hearing him speak in spanish is the strangest thing i've ever heard before! it's been 6 months and he told us a story in spanish. he and his companions were making pies when we called him which is so weird because the brother i remember couldn't cook or bake to save his life!! lol i miss him like crazy and i love him like no other! i'm so proud and excited about the work that he's doing.
well, for my whole life my family opens all our presents on christmas eve. some people think that's weird, but it's a tradition of ours and i love it:) when jacob (my brother-in-law) gets home, we're opening our presents so i'm gonna go and post some pinterest stuff before he gets here!
